We just came back from a much-needed family holiday, filled with games, laughter, lots of pool time, sunshine and great food 🥰

There is something about this sacred land that makes me feel deeply nourished, that can revive me in a way that only Mama Bali can…

I battled in my head about going back to Bali, thinking maybe we should take the kids somewhere else… but when I tuned in to it… I could feel - it was exactly what we all needed ❤️

We’ve all been there 🙋‍♀️

Your first step is to talk about what you’re feeling/ experiencing with someone… yep, as hard as it can be at times, you need to say it out loud.

P.S. There’s a difference between being introverted and quiet vs being in ‘shut down’ or a freeze response. It can be extra tricky when those worlds collide though xx

Depression is a downward energy.

Think about that work for a moment - de-pressed.

We are holding something down. Maybe we’re holding down emotions, sure I get that. But maybe we’re holding down something else…

Maybe there’s a part of you that wants to blossom and bloom 💥🌸

Maybe there’s a part of you that wants to be expressed, that wants to step forward ☀️🌸

Can you feel that two way direction of energy?
🛑 one part of you is trying to keep something down (suppressing, depressing)
🔥one part of you is trying to come up (expressing, blooming)

Something is rising.

Something is rising within you.

Start to tune into that.

You’ll find your way back to even more of yourself.

And yes, I actually washed my hair with body wash yesterday (can’t get a brush through it lol)

And fuck yes, what I need is some time sitting in the sun on my bedroom floor today…

I am absolutely ok with the fact that this is the best place for me right now.

I used to have so much guilt and shame around feeling tired or sad - or feeling any ‘negative’ feelings - urghhh it made things so much worse 🤮

Now I feel what I’m feeling, tend to myself in the most loving way I can… and allow that phase to pass.
